Most UK Acting Schools and Drama Schools won’t teach you the worlds most successful acting technique which is Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting.

Despite the technique being used by many of the world’s leadng actors it still remains a bit of a mystry and secret to the UK Acting Schools and Drama Schools.

Why? Well, it tends to be more emotional and psychology than other acting training. Historically this hasn’t sat well with the British culture which has tended to be less comfortable with emotions and psychology. However, this has begun to change.

Despite the change in society Drama Schools and Acting Schools have not changed with it.

My Actors Studio is one of the few acting establishments in the UK to solely teach Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting as I feel it is important that the technique allows actors in the UK to embrace Method Acting as it produces such a high standard of work.
